Pug

Creating a fun workflow between SAI and Photoshop! Love how this lil' guy turned out with the use of the pen tool for line work, then the 'water' brush for actual painting. After that was done to my satisfaction I brought it into Photoshop where I did some quick fixes then overlayed some textures onto the fur and face, added a colour correction then bam! Finished! Or at least as finished as I'll ever make it.

Pierced

What started out a pencil drawing in my sketchbook developed into this! Originally I just had her head and it was mostly rendered by the time I decided that she should have a body as well, which I think in the end was a good decision. The freckles were a last minute thought too, but I really like the extra little pzaz that they give! Piercings and eye shadow were definitely a newer kind of territory and I think for the next female figure I paint, whenever that it, might have tattoos as well!!

Flying Witch

She's quite good at it too! I'm pretty happy with how this looks. It's nice to feel like I've actually progressed in drawing things straight from imagination! Anyways, I sketched this one out on paper first, then scanned it into Photoshop, painted it and voila! A witch surfing on her broom.
