Pug

Creating a fun workflow between SAI and Photoshop! Love how this lil' guy turned out with the use of the pen tool for line work, then the 'water' brush for actual painting. After that was done to my satisfaction I brought it into Photoshop where I did some quick fixes then overlayed some textures onto the fur and face, added a colour correction then bam! Finished! Or at least as finished as I'll ever make it.

  1. Hey Kris! Oh I love his eyes!
He's so cute! Great work on the
    textures. You're improving your
    digital painting really fast. Are
you using any book or method you
    could share? I've been struggling
    with digital painting lately.
    Congrats for your improvement.

    1. Hey there Valadares! Sorry for the slow reply. Can't say that I've been using any books, but I've recently been using 'Paint Tool SAI' more than my usual Photoshop. It's got smoother line work and the brushes are more realistically working! So when I was using the 'water' brush, the colours blended as if they were actually water colours, which is pretty cool. I recommend trying it out if you haven't!
